Good question.
Barton Fink
and
Miller's Crossing
are way up there for sure and I'll always have a soft spot for
O Brother Where Art Thou
. But really their entire filmography is pretty solid aside from rare misses like
The Ladykillers
and
Hail Caesar
. Even movies nobody ever talks about like
The Man Who Wasn't There
are quite underrated.

I can never pick just one when it comes to favorites. Gotta be Fargo, The Big Lebowski, and O Brother Where Art Thou.
I still haven't seen all of them. Surprised I haven't seen Miller's Crossing yet because it was partly filmed in my area. Usually, that has me watching movies that wouldn't otherwise interest me, but this one does interest me.
I liked No Country for Old Men, but it's overrated. It's not one I rewatch on purpose. -

No Country and Fargo.
All of their films are good but some are just too bleak and miserable for me. Take A Serious Man, I watched it for the first time recently, some nice guyβs life is just gradually ripped apart with an even darker ending. Itβs superbly crafted and thereβs some humour along the way, but Iβve seen horror films that left me feeling less depressed.
