For Gravity. What do you think of it?
Months ago I predicted he would. I don't think there was serious competition amongst the nominees (lots of better ones in 2013 though) save Arcade Fire, which was an odd but interesting choice anyway. Price had everything to win: part of one of the most popular movies of the year, and the last tracks, in the journey home, are very powerful and get the emotions all riled up, and the Academy loves that. I also think the music played very, very well in the movie, in fact it made the ending - without it, Gravity's finale would have no power. I wouldn't have given Price the Oscar, considering 2013 in its whole, but of the five it was the best choice.
This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.
