Okay I'm searching for a song and I swear, majority of song search sites suck ass.
Anyways the song I'm searching for is by a male singer. I thought it was Ryan Adams, but pretty certain it's not him. However that's the type of song I'm searching for. Mostly the male vocals with simple instrumentals. It came out sometime around 2010ish. Maybe a few years before or even after, but not a recent song.
It starts off pretty slow with simple guitar instrumental before it picks up around the chorus before slowing down again around halfway. The lyrics don't repeat often either and comes across as one of those story songs. It's like the lyrics goes halfway then when it slows down starts to repeat or sing similar lyrics.
I'm pretty bad at remembering lyrics since words can sound like another word when being sung. Anyways I remember the lyrics (this is part of the chorus that begins to pick up before the song slows down again) going something like "what is wrong in your head, what's wrong" except I don't think he actually said "in your head" as I was associating the song with a fictional character.
Another part of the chorus has "she didn't/doesn't need you".
I thought the song was called "she said" since I think the song had a simple title, but the stupid searches are giving me wrong results.
Anyways anyone have any idea what this song is or a song search site that can help break it down? -

Actually I ended up finding the song. Just had to make a slight lyric change to "what is going on in your head, what's wrong".
Then got Howie Day - She Says and that's the song I was searching for. -

I'm still searching for a pop song from around that time that referenced the olsen twins, a shopping mall, and shoes. I thought it was ceelo green, but it wasn't. I gave up searching. It's been over a decade lol. I'm just hoping I hear it on the radio one day bc it's actually driving me insane

Yes. Try here:

If it was a historic / folk / Americana song, I would steer you in a wholly different direction.
But if it is simply some modern pop song you heard in a modern film the links above will lead you to stations which play nothing but instrumental film music.
