Detroit was the hub of Motown thanks to Barry Gordie, and there is no finer music…
Smokie Robinson, the Supremes, the Jacksons just to name a few…
And before you write off Nashville and country music, some of the very best artists produced the greatest music in the world.
I'd be willing to bet that some of the musicians from Manchester drew inspiration from the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, the Carter Family and so many others before them.
Country isn't my first choice of music to listen to. Golden Oldies Rock and Roll and Classic Rock are my favorite genre… Thank you Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, from Manchester!
