I totally would go see them if they came somewhere relatively close to me. I've loved everything about them for years.

The pre-show ritualistic cleansing of the stage, us, and themselves.

Eivør too. She blew eveyone away. It was just her and her drum, her guitar, and a dude playing soundscapes on keyboard. No fancy stage act, just her voice, which gave me a huge lump in my throat and a little cry, as she calls to my sooooul.
She only did Viking pagan stuff, none of her pop tunes because she's on a pagan tour. SO glad I got to see her in oure form. Her pop is nice but not what I jeed from her. So yeah, she sounded like the soundtrack to Vikings and The Last Kingdom. Both of which she DID contribute to the soundtrack.

Why ashamed? Any route to music discovery is great. It's not as if the US gets that much contact with northern European paganism.

That was the first thing that appealed to me when I first saw them. It started right from how they approached the stage and cleaned and gave thanks. I love their respect! I have enjoyed that aspect of their performances forever!
