Pretty solid list except for missing Sting’s Ten summoners tales.

        Yes, amazing song!
My fave is Fields of gold, what sounds like a quite simple song, is super intricate and extremely well made if you start to analyze it. But also I’m a huge fan, and I can’t really pick a song from that era that I love the most. For me there are so many. When we dance, for example is amazing

their first album should be on there. blood sugar sex magik should be on there. massive attack - mezzanine should be on there. moby - play should be on there. that was a huge album. the pixies got totally robbed on this list. what a disgrace. beck should be much higher. in utero should be top ten. so should grace by jeff buckley. not a bad list though. i'm just glad neutral milk hotel fell almost 30 spots. what a terrible album that was.

Yeah, I was surprised about the Red Hot Chili Peppers missing from the list.
What are the qualifications of the list makers?

The qualifications are that you need to have an natural instinct to hate anything that sells more than 5000 copies. ( which i think is what Nick Hornby said in High Fidelity, amazing book btw, decent film )

it is insane it worked. blending electronic music with old roots music doesn't even make sense but it's brilliant.
