I said you're too dumb to tell a lie. It was a joke. But you aren't shrewd and conniving like some people. You're folks.
The Mongoloid had a job and wore a hat. The hat is important. It was funny that FFS mentioned you.

What a wonderfully weird, but interesting piece of music. Thanks, Dazed. I'd need a few more listens to that to really know what they're trying to say.
I'm hearing a critique of the shallowness of modernity, but I wonder if there's something else there too, snarling under the surface.
Love the melody, love the easy style and the orchestral sounds that occasionally give off a Glen Miller, big band vibe, and I love the intentionally cheesy video.

I know of them, but can't say they've ever grabbed my attention.
There's so much good music out there. It's impossible to discover it all.
Link something you like.

My favorite is the second one, but what are they trying to tell me? I'm not really getting the message.
If it's just a song about cave paintings then I'll be disappointed.

My interpretation is that he found the caves as a kid and nobody else knew about them. He was overwhelmed by the drawings, found meaning and comfort in them, and even felt like they were his friends. But after other people discovered them and they were on display for the world to see, with people all over the world looking at them, taking pictures, etc., they were just seen as historical artifacts; so when he saw them like that as an adult, the feelings were gone that he had about them when he was a kid.
