Back in 1967, The Australian pop band, The Seekers, returned home for a visit. While there, they played a free concert at the Myer Music Bowl, in their home town of Melbourne. The concert formed part of the TV special 'The Seekers at Home and Down Under'. The concert was an unexpected success, breaking concert attendance, and TV ratings records for Australia!
This particular song, Georgy Girl, was written for the 1966 film by the same name. Apparently the director’s favorite musical group was The Seekers, and he requisitioned them to produce the song.
That looks like a Cello that the one band member is strumming with his fingers

I see. I just looked it up, and apparently it can be played both ways. Meaning it can be played with a bow, or plucked. I just thought that maybe the member was using it in an unorthodox manner, but no.

Yes, sorry, I got lazy there. I tagged you, and then replied to Christina. So I was really replying to her, but “lazed out” and also included you. Yes, she really does. That’s a wonderful talent to have.
