One of my coworkers saw this video AFTER they had come through town on the BITUSA tour. She knew I was a longtime fan and had been to the concert.
She was uncharacteristically taken by him in this video… it was
not
like her to get that excited about
anything
, but I could tell it was Bruce's video pheromones that set her off.
She told me she wanted the two of us to camp out for tickets the next time they came to town in order to get in "the pit" next to the stage. She was gonna put herself in the best possible spot to get picked even if it meant sleeping on the concrete around the arena.

Don't know… things got restructured at work and she ended up quitting and going somewhere else and we lost touch.
She could've gotten in touch with me there (I stayed at that job) if she'd wanted to go to his next concert in town, but Bruce had been going through some changes, too… and was not back in town until the mid-90s for his "Ghost of Tom Joad" tour and that wouldn't have been her cup of tea.
Your question has inspired me to try to get in touch and see if she ever went to see him in the ensuing years, though.

Yes, "Black & White Night"…I saw it on PBS one night. That's excellent performance and was loaded with talent… J.D. Souther, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, James Burton, Tom Waits, and many others.
They performed "Pretty Woman" as the finale…
