I think people really sleep on Electronic music. Not necessarily the head banging rave stuff , but sub genres like chillwave and synth pop. It’s great music to relax and meditate too.

I don't like electronic music, and if you want something to relax or meditate with, you can't go past this.

But really, I like a lot of electronic music. I've recently fallen in love with some trance mixes, but as it's been for the last several years, I love New Retro Wave. Though there may only be so far it can go, I'm really into the sound.

I don't think edm is underrated. It is really the only music in the 21st century which has any real vitality. Real rock is dead. Punk and alternative have been so overworked there's not much left. Hip Hop should have been buried 20 years ago.

What kind of classical do you like? If I'm looking for something relaxing I turn to Debussy. I love Clair de Lune.

I’m not experienced enough with classical to even pick a favourite but I’ve always appreciated it and it definitely seems grossly underrated.
I guess I’m especially fond of Beethoven, I love the 50 thousand different versions of Ode to Joy and Egmont Overture is awesome.
I like a lot of original orchestrated stuff composed for movies as well - John Williams, James Newton Howard etc.

Mozart is wonderful. Also, try the waltzes of Chopin.

Country. I mean real country. Spittin-in-spittoon, Deliverance, southern rebellious folk country. Not Brad Paisley ****.

You like the song Day Drinking by Parmalee? I love that one. They play it all the time at a bar in my area.
