    This is a debate apparently. It's been almost 30 years since they released their first album, 25 since Kurt was gunned down. This stuff is old. It is classic. But is it Classic Rock?

          They are not. Classic rock is a radio only term inclusive of primarily hard rock bands from the mid 70s to late 80s.
          No 90s band really qualifies.
