Just heard these guys about 30 minutes ago on
    Last Call
    w/ Carson Blockhead.
They sounded like the love children of
    Rick Astley & Debbie Gibson
just cringeworthywith a cherry on top.
Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you
    Electric Guest
"Stick with me, baby, and you'll be fartin' thru silk."

A random selection without much in the way of deep, or indeed any, thought -
      Japandroids
      Atari Teenage Riot
      Sparklehorse
      14 Iced Bears
      Avenged Sevenfold
      Love And Money
      Hue And Cry
      Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians
      Kula Shaker
      Ride
All of whom cause me actual physical pain.
No valley too deep, no mountain too high.

the shaggs are pretty bad, but it's a typical example.

          Some live examples:
Recently I was working at a charity fundraiser late last year. Atomic Kitten were the opening act. At one point they "harmonised" - quite possibly one of the worst things I have heard in a live environment.
In my teens I was a fan, but having seen RHCP a few times live (with Frusciante) they were consistently awful Especially Keidis.
I saw the Dandy Warhols open for David Bowie in 2003 in the UK. Dull and pointless.
Had never heard of them before, but King 810 opened a stage I was working on at a rock/metal festival a couple of years ago. They were supposed to play for 35 minutes. They were sloppy, it was 35+Celcius (and increasing), they were all wearing hoodies, the singer threw down his mic and stropped off stage. Their own crew called it beep embarrassing."
          Where is everybody?

Train. Trust me, their new album is worse than that song or "Hey Soul Sister" by a factor of a hundred.
