Name pre-1990s music groups which were racially integrated.
Just off the top of my head:
Benny Goodman's band was often racially integrated
Silver Convention (starting with their second album)*
Svenne & Lotta (popular in Sweden in the 1970s)
    The Impalas (a late-1950s act)
    Culture Club
Could you please name some others?
I hope this isn't an idiotic question.
*First album was recorded entirely by session vocalists. Second album was recorded by the group members, as was later albums. This kind of stuff was common in disco music.

Curious: why did you want to do this exercise and why is 1990 the cutoff point?

I posted this because I'm bored. I've been bored all year. Hence I post a lot of threads. There wasn't a "real" reason for posting it.
I don't know why I chose 1990. It was at random.

I doubt very much the Edison Symphony Orchestra and other Edwardian orchestras were racially integrated
