Draft of the letter eventually sent.
    You're my wife now.

Oh how gutting for the seller at the car boot sale!
Tedious of Lennon to refuse it though, especially when he has no idea about the conflict he cites. Anyone who invites the press into his & that bitch, Ono's bed to promote peace & love whilst seeming to forget how much easier it is to do that when you're a multimillionaire with nothing on your timetable, gets little respect from me.
You have to be way up your rectum to find Ono attractive anyway, pretentious, talentless nobody that she is.
I saw also how some builder was going to throw a painting of Ringo on a skip? Who are these retards?

Why do you think Lennon had "no idea" about what was going on in Vietnam and Biafra"?

His saying 'that Nigeria Biafra thing' suggested itnot the words of someone with any real concern for the conflict.

That's the way he spoke, it does not imply a lack of concern, and the fact that he returned his award shows that it must have been pretty important for him.

It all stinks of show to me, & it's far more easy to be all supercool, hippyish & dismissive of such things with £500m in the bank & no career to worry about.
Should have just stuck to the songs, John.

Always loved that he added the part about Cold Turkey slipping in the charts
                Very Lennon
