Too many packages to choose from
With comcmast, which i hate, the only extras are the movie channels like hbo, showtime, etc.
Oh and we dont get boomerang on comcast

Nope no TV One, I see it listed on my cable list in the high channels I'm already paying enough for cable, I may add it on. When I go to my mom house she has Mediacom and she get Centric, but not TV One.

Selena and Vodkie I agree with you two I hate that about cable as well that you have to order all these packages just to watch certain channels. Some cable companies have the music video channels like VH1 Soul, MTV Hits, MTV classic, MTV Jams, and etc but in order to get it you have to pay for the package deal, I wish those networks was free for all the cable companies all they showing is just music videos that regular music networks don't play.
Vodkie what shows do Boomerang play? I think I had that on my cable when I was in Texas. When I was in Texas I had Dish I thought that was the cartoon channel or maybe its old school sitcom channel. -

I can't tell you guys either. Boomerang is not included in my package.
The ONLY time I get to see TV ONE and all those extra channels is when DIRECTV decides to show them during Memorial Day Weekend. I'm just happy that TCM, TeeNick which The Splat comes on, and Disney Jr is included in the package my family had subscribed to.
I think I did watch boomerang last memorial day weekend and they had sylvester and tweety mysteries and the garfield show airing. -

lol i hate the splat for not keeping a decent variety. i got hey arnold, cat dog, beavers complete series on DVD and by monday, Rugrats seasons 1 and 2.

I don't think so. I've seen the Parkers reruns on another network. Aspire, I think it's called. They play the Moesha and Sister, Sister reruns there too.

but that's the religious channel formerly known as GMC AKA Gospel Music channel
They annoy the F outta me. They skip sexual content on every show
but now they air "gilmore girls" and just slap a disclaimer about the sexual content
Plus they bleep every hell, damn, ass, etc.
according to the sister, sister boards (UPTV aired it when they were gmc) they went as far as to bleeping "heck" and "Darn"
so using them to dv-r the episodes that were edited is out of the question
it makes me wonder if Cousin Skeeter has copyright issues. 702's Steelo did Sample Sting's Band "the police". So It's possible the theme song could be co-owned by sting

UPTV, that's it. They even bleeped "heck" and "darn"?
There's a Christmas movie Vanessa Williams did back in 2000 called A Diva's Christmas Carol that originally aired on VH1. It's been years since I've seen it on VH1, but I see it every Christmas on the Hallmark channel and they've edited the crap out of it for language. There's one scene where Vanessa calls Kathy Griffin (who plays the Ghost of Christmas Past) a "skinny b!tch" and it doesn't feel like Christmas until I hear that line in full!
Seriously, what's the point in even airing these shows and movies if you edit so much out of them?

Y'all picked some good ones. I'm especially interested to know what Tracie Spencer's up to these days. And speaking of Groove Theory, they need to do another album already. They've briefly reunited for the odd live performance, but a new record is long overdue.
