                        Peggy, I didn't know Faith Evans did a cover of True Colors. At first, I thought Phil Collins had sung that song first, then I found out years later it was Cyndi Lauper's song.

                                LOL. even Mariah Sang over Cherrelle's original beat because she had the same producer
                                I've been trying to use Audacity and splice and dice the 2 versions to mix it as a duet
                                but i've had no luck because the volumes don't match on my files
                                Some youTuber mashed them together and even incorporated a few elements of the instrumentation to palmer's cover
