Recently I purchased the Rolling Stones latest album, Blue and Lonesome.
This is the 6th Rolling Stones album I own. I became a Stones fan through their greatest hits album, 40 Licks and in between 40 Licks and Blue & Lonesome I've received or bought Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Exile on Main Street and Some Girls.
I usually don't go for Blues music but I am a big fan of the Rolling Stones so I gave Blue & Lonesome a shot and quite enjoyed it. Of course, The Rolling Stones are no strangers to the Blues genre, they played Blues when they started out in the 60's. They do get their name from a Muddy Waters song, after all.
I enjoyed all of the songs on the album. 3 of my favorites are "I Gotta Go", "Everybody Knows About My Good Thing" and "Just Like I Treat You"
