I can see him markin' papers in shirt that's a mess
In a room where ya do what ya don't confess
Sundown you better take care
If I find you been teachin' postmodern fare
Sundown ya better take care
If I find you been praisin' the Faculty Head's hair
He's been lookin' like a don in a tweedy coat
And admiring the TAs like a randy goat
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain -

The legend lives on from the faculty party last year
Of the associate prof they call 'Bentley'
The prof, it is said, never gives out an A
When the exams of December turn gloomy
With a load of media studies books
The good prof drank some good whisky
And lectured drunkenly to surprised freshmen
Whose parents had dished out the money! -

Carefree forced retirement
Pickin' up the pieces of my sweet shattered dream
I wonder how the old profs are tonight
Her name was Ann and I'll be damned if I recall her face
She left me not knowin' what to do
She was my TA, she let me slip it into her
She was my TA, she slipped away, saying “Me too.” -
