Why do libs run from this? You refuse to answer the question, make some ad hominem about the person asking the question,

I was at a meeting recently with several local nonprofits. A conference or summit, if you will. A similar meeting that prompted the OP 5-6 months ago.
You'll be happy to know the library, which carries these materials, has seen a decline in children's programming attendance and materials checked out. Not the library, the children's department. -

So there were a handful of semi-retarded MAGA parents who were actually capable of and choosing to read? And then because other fully retarded MAGAs were throwing a fit about books you and I and most other people never heard of until those same retards started screaming about it all over Fox News and social media, they decided to stop taking their kids to the library?
Well played, MAGA. When those future dipshits of America grow up to be illiterate and unemployable I'm sure you'll be first in line to inexplicably pin the blame on college white chicks or DEI. -

Your stern commitment to the sexualization of children and anger towards any opposition of it is quite gross. Well done.

Yes, I'm not in favor of removing content for everybody just because there's a chance children might see it. These are the same idiots were trying to get Harry Potter removed 20 years ago, and comic books 20 years before that.

The one with the more explicit stuff in the OP is not available in any kids sections. Neither is 50 Shades of Grey, which I also assume is carried by most libraries. 30 seconds of research could have told you that. I even did it for him earlier but he deflected and moved the goal posts like a champ.

Yeah you can try and sit hear and gaslight and lie all you want, fact is you're defending the state giving children porn and you find sexualizing children very amusing. You're gross.

And here you are supporting the idea of giving this to kids and also trying to pretend leftists in schools aren't trying to give this to kids and pack their libraries with it. You're gross, we know.

In one commonly cited panel,
a 14-year-old Kobabe fantasizes about a scene in which an older man touches the penis of a youth.
The illustration is based on a piece of painted ancient Greek pottery depicting a "courting scene."[26][2] Detractors have described this as a depiction of pedophilia.[27][28] Another illustration frequently cited by critics depicts
Kobabe's girlfriend performing oral sex on Kobabe while Kobabe wears a strap-on dildo.
[1][32][33]
The book also includes depiction of masturbation.
[26]
What kind of adult would want to read about minors masturbating, having sex, or fantacizing about having sex with adults? With visual depictions, no less. -

Who gives a **** what other adults read? Lolita exists, as a book and a movie. It's considered a classic. The Greek myths have all sorts of incest. The average middle aged women watches or listens to 5,000 hours of true crime murder porn bullshit every year. Romeo & Juliet is about horny 14 year olds. A video copy of the 1960's version has a nude scene with a 15 year old actress. A popular book series which spawned the most popular TV show of the last 15 years, heavily features a sister ****er and a 13 year old getting plowed by a barbarian. You can pick up any of those things at your nearest library by the way.

Are you the guy that thought 1984 was an instruction manual instead of a warning? It's a cartoon. Once again, I need to remind you it's also one directed at other adults. Are you gonna have the cops and CPS inspect mom and dad's dresser drawers too just in case they have sex toys within 50 feet of a kid's bedroom?

There's always someone saying "If Democrats would just cave on [guns, abortion, racial stuff, gays, taxes, green energy, trans stuff, Ukraine, Israel, etc] they'd never lose again." Which I guess is kind of true because if both parties run the entire Republican platform there really isn't a loser in the race. It's still completely stupid.
5 minutes later you'd find something else to cry about anyway when you're told it's a cataclysmic that you Western civilization. Hell, the biggest and most divisive issue - abortion - was completely rebranded as a religion thing by Jerry Falwell in the 70's. He openly admitted he did it to give him leverage in conservative politics. They've been using that same script for 50 years now and you people keep falling for it.
