That vodka that Alison kept plying her paramours with was very odd looking. I've never seen brown/amber colored vodka before. Looked more like whiskey to me.

Seemed like the movie makers didn't think the audience even knew what vodka was. At one point they have a character give a definition, i.e. "Russian hooch". Given that, they probably didn't worry much about how it was depicted.

In the scene at her home with George Brent's character.the Vodka was clear.
"OOhhhooo.I'M GON' TELL MAMA!"
