This has been bugging me ever since I saw this fine piece of cinematic genius! There's a line, from Jimmy when he's going into that Soda place and the crazy man is playing the piano. He says 'He ain't no paperman!' then the girl who is with him says something and then he says something which I think begins with 'Boy'
I have to know what this is, someone please help or I will blaze up enough dope to kill me I swear! Thanks in advance!

      Here is what I heard:
Girl: Don't you know him? That's "Hot Fingers" Peroni.
Jimmy: Boy, he really swings that up a bunch of jive.
However, "Movie Scripts" reports a slightly different version, which you can read here:

A "paper man" was a musician who couldn't improvise. He had to read the notes on paper.
