My ac unit condenser burnt up today so I'm sitting in my car in the driveway running the air because it's hot AF and they can't replace it until tomorrow. I haven't seen one car go down the street past me and haven't heard so much as a dog whimper. I'm extremely lucky to live in a neighborhood with zero late night activity other than the ******* who occasionaly crawl through and steal **** out of your car. I hope one of them comes by tonight so I can surprise them.

Somewhat isolated rural area, pretty quiet… I get way more activity and encounters with wildlife than I do with humans.

Quiet neighborhood. Older midtown area, a longish block away from a semi major artery, but there are so many large trees, very little vehicle sound gets through and you have to be outside to hear it.

Edge of the City.
It could be peaceful if not just

• hobby gardeners try to find out how to kill animals best with their machines (wink to Joc)
• city contract gardeners need more machine hours to put in the invoice (I call them garden murderers)
• soccer games run in TV (DEATH SCREAMS!…less firecrackers after my
  'curses'
  coincidentally worked
  )
• children confuse opera singing with scream feasts (no, I didn't mean normal children shouts and cries)
  So, other than that…quiet.

A few blocks from the main area of town, but in an older established residential neighborhood.
It's fairly quiet.
