Grace Kelly's car was a Sunbeam Mark Alpine roadster, but I'd have to see the movie again to see what the maid drove. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I think the phrase rhymes with "clucking bell".

I believe it was in fact a Lagonda.
As for the car the maid drove in To Catch a Thief, I would hazard a guess that it was a Delahaye.
Grace Kelly certainly drove a Sunbeam Alpine.

According to imcdb.org it's a 1936 Lagonda LG 45.
