I see people on decorating tiktoks use this **** to get a clean edge but it does NOT stick to the laminate! Two different rolls I used so I know it's not me doing it wrong.
I'm gonna try duct tape next time. Can't be any worse.

If you are painting, use the painting tape. You will get a better edge.
