Saw this for the first time tonight and was completely won over. The circular story structurethe vivid sense of locationthe attention to social niceties and interactionsthe deep understanding of thought processes and of the ways that attractions and emotions develop. This is an extremely honest, perceptive, and moving film.

I have it on our PVR, I taped it from TCM last March, and my husband & son know better than to delete it! One of my favorites.
