I must be confused. The mother in Miracle doesn't look like Maureen O'Hara.

        I guess you
        are
confused. This film definitely stars Maureen O'Hara as the main female character. Maybe you were watching the 1994 version.
And I agree with the other posters talking of her beauty. Ever since I was a kid, I thought she was the most purely beautiful woman. Love her accent tooAND The "Quiet Man" is still hot to this day.

She may have been a hottie, but for most of this film she really had a corncob up her butt, didn't she ??

              Corncob? Kinky!
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I do still agree that Maureen was pretty.

I suspect the OP was "typing with one hand".

That's a bit crude, but I would say that she was much hotter eight years earlier in Hunchback.

i'm guessing the miracle in the title refers to her beauty
so many movies, so little time

You can say that again. I was never that familiar with Maureen O'Hara (I remember that she sadly passed away last year aged 95), and I'd never seen Miracle on 34th Street before until a few days ago (being only 22 years old, I was more familiar with the 1994 version). The moment I saw her I was transfixed A truly beautiful woman.
I will be watching some of her other movies for sure.
