      Yes I have read that too, where Marilyn Munroe stated Barbara Stanwyk was very kind to her, and treated her with respect. Another reason to love Barbara Stanwyk!

          I heard about Barbara's defense of Marilyn on one of the documentaries about Barbara. She told those who were moaning about Marilyn to leave her alone. "She's just a kid" is supposed to have been Barbara's actual words.
