      Me neither. I just watched it on TCM for the first time too. Disturbing film. James Mason was terrific.

        I saw this about 30 years ago and saw it was on tonight. I had to watch it again. Just as disturbing as I remembered it. James Mason should at least have been nominated for an Oscar for his performance.

          I had never heard of it either. I had recorded it, and finally watched it tonight. As the OP said, thank God for TCM.

              I've been taking a cortisone drug called prednisone for a few years now, for a non-functioning pituitary gland. I'd never seen this film before either - WOW. I asked my doctor a while back if I should maybe increase my dose. He responded that taking too much of this drug can be considered abuse. It hadn't even occurred to me before then that this was any kind of psychological drug.
              I sure won't take more than the doc prescribes ever again!
