Stylized rotating logo

Somewhere in an IMDB message, I saw a reference to the stylized Peter Gunn logo where an abstract figure of a person is rotating. This appears on the menus of the UK Liberation DVD release of the first two seasons. It also appears on the cover of the piano music folios for the show (see http://www.mjq.net/filmus/petergunn.jpg) as well as the cover for the "More Music From Peter Gunn" soundtrack album.
The message, as I recall, suggested that this logo appeared before the commercials, in a manner similar to the "wave" on Hawaii Five-O and that it appeared in some of the A&E episodes.
But I have the first A&E set (the one with the red cover), and I spot-checked it recently, and I couldn't find any examples of this.
Does anyone know where this appears on the A&E sets (if indeed it does) or anything else about this logo?
By the way, I am working on an "anal-ysis" of the first two seasons of Peter Gunn, similar to what I did for Hawaii Five-O (http://www.mjq.net/fiveo). The emphasis is not on criticism, at least for the first season, because the shows are of generally very high quality, so most of the comments are taken up with a synopsis of the plot, with reference to Mancini's music featured in the show which is taken from the two soundtrack LPs.

I have never seen the A&E sets. However, I can verify that the logo that you are talking about does appear consistently as the fade-out to commercial during all of the current RetroTV showings of the series (12:30 AM EST weeknights and 5:00 & 5:30 PM EST Sundays).

From your comments elsewhere, it sounds like you are watching the third season episodes. Have you seen this rotating logo in first or second season shows?

I don't know where the season boundaries are, but I've seen episodes with Mother and episodes where Edie sings at Edie's. They all have that same fade out before commercials.
Of course, I wouldn't know whether that might have differed from season to season originally, and then been made uniform more recently so that the reruns would all match.
