Was she arrested for prostituting herself?
i don't speak french, so i have only the english subtitles to rely on. however, i don't remember them mentioning what she was picked up for.
    Thanks

yeah, she was arrested (along with a bunch of other women and a publicly drunk man) because they thought she was a prostitute. we are led to think the other women are, but we know that she isnt of course.

No, she wasn't arrested for prostituting, in fact she wasn't even arrested. She was just taken in so that the police could check who she was. This is a very common procedure when, especially late at night, you're been asked by the police to show them your id card and you don't have it on you, or any other papers that can prove who you are. If you do have it, unlike Moreau, they simply walk away, but if you don't you're being taken in.

I thought the subtitle said they were taken in because they were on the street early in the morning without any ID's.
