According to the credits and the IMDb, the Our Gang alumnus Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer has a part in this film playing someone called Angus. I just got done watching the movie, and never noticed anyone called Angus or anyone that resembled a grown Alfalfa. Anyone know what scene(s) he was in?

I had been wondering that myself for some time, and after some sniffing around, I found this

which indicates that he was the "deputy" who was always playing the radio.

Thanks. I recognize him now. I don't remember him having any lines though. The radio was playing every time they showed the search party, but I never knew who was playing it. Maybe I'll have to go back and watch it again.

I recognized Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer, as soon as he entered the scene, and was always excited when I would spot him as a young adult in a couple of other movies he's done. Maybe that's because I'm old enough to remember when he was killed in 1959, and how sad I was because in my 11 year old mind at that time, he was still the kid on the Little Rascals with the squeaky voice and the cow lick.and not his actual age of 32 years old. Such a tragic and heartbreaking end.

I couldn't believe it when I read he was only 32 in that movie. He aged way beyond his years, looked like he was in his 40s.

He was an animal killer so he got what he deserved.

I get your point, and as much as I LOVE ANIMALS; and I AM NOT in agreement with hunting them..I DO NOT place animal life above that of a human life.
