Wait a minute, how come nobody is mentioning there WAS a movie made not long ago that was the same exact plot, although for the life of me, I can't think of the title right now, or if they dared to call it the same title, probably not, or it would come up in a search. A black and white man, escape a train, chained together, run, find a messed up woman living alone in a trailer in the woods,..she does the same thing.tells the black guy it's all good, go up into the swamp, and the white guy goes in after him.
I was also shocked by the scene at the woman's house, how she throws herself at the man to get him to take her, and he ends up punching her in the face and gets shot by the kid

I remember that movie. It starred Carl Weathers and Robert Urich.

Starring Laurence Fishburne & Stephen Baldwin was the remake.
