The cast info on this site for this movie says scenes deleted for Peggy Connelly? It says she was cast as Elizabeth Wilson. Wasn't she in the movie. There were scenes on the Houseboat and at the Country Club dance where Alan Wilson (played by Murray Hamilton) is with his wife.

Thanks for the info. Looking at the cast listing again. It must have been Susan Cabot who played Mrs. Wilson. I'm not sure why Peggy Connelly islisted before actors who were in the movie though.

Peggy Connelly was from Fort Worth, Texas and attended Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth and graduated in 1949. She won an amatuer talent contest sponsored by the Fort Worth Press & Majestic Theater in September 1947. She sang with some local bands in Fort Worth before she moved to Los Angeles. She sang at some local clubs in LA. She was singing at the Blue Angel in New York in October 1956 while she was the girlfriend of Frank Sinatra. In June 1957, she signed a seven-year contract with Paramount Pictures. After her relationship with Sinatra ended, she started dating Dick Martin of Rowan and Martin and married him in November 1957. They had one son named Cary.
It's been awhile since I've seen Houseboat but I have pictures of her in 1957 which indicates that she was a brunet with short-hair.
The following is an item from the Fort Worth Press:
          November 13, 1958
Fort Worths PEGGY CONNELLY and husband Dick Martin, the comedian, have moved into a new $40,000 home in Beverly Hills, Calif. Peggys in Houseboat, opening at the Worth today.
The Worth Theater was probably the #1 Theater in Fort Worth.
