Entertainment Weekly wrote in 1996 or 1997 that The X-Files “could be television’s next Twilight Zone — a show that lives forever in reruns, college courses, and fan lore.
And two years earlier wrote:
The X-Files “will live as long or longer than The Twilight Zone.”
Boy! Were they wrong!
