You sound like a garden variety misogynist. Clearly she did it so he couldn't go on victimizing young women.

Oh I see now, if she can't have him no one can. Guess I missed the part where he forced her to marry him, assuming thats how he "victimized" her. I thought he just provided for her a very long time before he slipped out. I'm sure he left her enough to get by on.
So if some old b/tch wants you thats it, you are hers or she gets to kill you.
      Good to know.

Oh don't be so dramatic. You could always kill her first!

I wouldn't call it "victimizing" in the least. All he is doing is entering into a
          MUTUAL
contract of marriage. And remember, he tried to break it off with Susanna before it got to that point. Finally - and perhaps most importantly - its just a sci-fi TV show, so I don't know why we're even arguing about it.

Wow. Twilight Zone rape culture. At least you're fighting back.

I think the award for "Worst Wife" might have to go to Helen from 'Time Enough at Last'. I mean sure, she didn't kill Henry, but he might have preferred it if she did just to get away from her.

The murderess should have married Walter's fiance's father who was a nice guy and prolly either divorced or widowed. Then she could have been Walter's ex-wife number 42 and his new mother-in-law.

Close second would have to be the wife in "A Stop at Willoughby" cruel, heartless, and evidently more interested in her husband's business success than in his health, sanity, and well-being !

You do wonder how Walter was able to live so long if all it took was a bullet to kill him. No other close calls in a 2000 year lifespan?

Especially since his long life must have included several stints in various armies!

He did say he'd come close to death many times and he considered suicide on a daily basis.
