That sometimes the 30 minute episodes end rather quickly. The resolution comes on way too fast. This didn't happen a lot, but once in awhile. THEN I started watching the 60 minute episodes and noticed that they ALL drag on for too long. I'm not saying they're awful, in fact some are great, but all are too long. So now, I never complain about the abrupt ending in in the 30 minute episodes.

The 60 minute episodes were padded like "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour". There are some 60 minute episodes I enjoy of "The Twilight Zone" and "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour" (e.g. "An Unlocked Window"). But, basically, I prefer the 30 minute episodes of each show. Much more memorable and satisfying episodes.
