Well come on, it's obvious Walter had no foresight into any of the situation- People would notice if that woman he was obsessed with disappeared and all of a sudden there was a statue that looked eerily like her. And eventually people would've figured out Alice was missing. He was too single-minded to think about all the things that would eventually go wrong.

But he also had the sinister fortune to have a victim that would not be missed right away. Alice was clearly disliked and her absence would not produce suspicion but rather relief. His major problem was the narc he encased, which was recognized by his partner who was part of the reception party.

I just found it funny that he just put them in wet clay. He didn't bake it in a kiln or even allow it to dry. why would anybody think that was a fine piece of art?

I think part of the point of the movie was to satirize the 'art scene' and how much some 'in the know' people didn't actually know.

My guess is that we are'nt suppose to think too hard about these things.
Sometimes we just have to let the art flow over us.
Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night!

              Your right.
But, it is a movie. This one is not meant to be over analyzed. It is fun with a bit of dark humor. I guess if you really get down to it, I only saw that one block of clay.
Also, in Star Wars, I remember the coolest thing was the sound that the Tie Fighters madeyou remember, that throaty "WROOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH"
Well. Even I knew that sound would not carry in space. So yeah, it was a bit of a stretch to have kick arse sounding ships along with explosions in space. But thats the movies man.
If its not a documentary, or a film based on real eventsjust sit back and enjoy the ridein factkeep finding those silly little things you know can't happen, and enjoy it for what it is.
And while we are on the subjectwhy do dead people who for some reason or other become "living" suddenly become hungry for living people? I mean, why do they suddenly decide to change their diet? On top of that, how do they become so strong? Haven't their muscles deteriorated any? They have no blood, so what feeds them oxygen which in turn fuels the muscles?
oki think ive beat this horse enough;)
I may not have a big tricked out name tag, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Because it was a dumb movie that was really fun to watch.

That was on my mind as well. Surely the smell would have given him away. I don't think he used embalming fluid.
Good thing rigor mortis didn't set in. Actually, that would have been a nice touch.
