Monroe was so sexy in the film, with a few extra pounds because of her pregnancy. Actresses today are simply too thin. Hollywood is somehow convinced that this is the image of women that men want; emaciated and unhealthy looking. I dont think this is what most men find attractive.

As thin as you are you still have room for a chip on your shoulder. Did you read my post or just skip right to the angry comment? No one said "thin women aren't real". My comment was, "Hollywood is somehow convinced that this is the image of women that men want; emaciated and unhealthy looking."
I stand by that comment. You, on the other hand, obviously have some self-esteem issues. -

I wonder what Audrey Hepburn would've looked like had she weighed more. I think she stunning, but certainly too thin. I had a friend that was a size 00. It's like hugging a twig, literally. I'm the same height as Hepburn was, but my weight is, uh, more than Hepburns 107lbs. I have curves and i guarantee my skeletal structure wouldn't allow me to be that thin. Back on point, I had a gay man, who is stick thin, tell me that "men want something they can hold." I'm never gunna forget that

If anything women have too many curves a lot of the time now, in all the wrong place, like Nikki Minaj and Kim Kardassian aka they are overweight and extremely unhealthy yet pushed as glamorous and healthy by the media. I remember a few years back to the Noughties when it was true that actresses were too thin and I used to say "I wish they were curvier like the old days" but now it tends to be "I wish they aren't obese and are slimmer like the old days". The modern era (1990s-2010s) tends to favour the extremes of under or over weight.
