On Wikipedia, Tom Graeff is profiled, pretty extensively. If accurate, it is one wacky biography. Allegedly, he and David Love,(whose real name was C.R. Kaltenthaler) were romantically involved, he petitioned to have his name changed to Jesus Christ II at one point, and killed himself on December 19th, 1970 after being despondent, because his career wasn't going anywhere.
