Christiane and Edna: face to face

After Christiane Genessier has had Edna Gruber's face grafted onto her, she looks like Edith Scob rather than Juliette Mayniel (the actress who portrayed Edna). Shouldn't it be the other way round?

The doctor removed the skin and grafted it onto another head which would have had a different bone structure and so altered the appearance.
Keep silent unless what you are going to say is more important than silence.

A very reasonable point except for the enormous wart on her nose! No hang on, I think that might have been a different film.
