I wonder if that could explain WHY Fred and Betty of "real eyes" and Wilma and Barney only have little dots.

I doubt it.
They were introduced to each other in the episode "Bachelor Daze".
The gang reflects on when they all met when it was announced that the hotel when they all worked (and where they had met) is being torn down.

Yes that is true I was just remembering someone bringing that up, or maybe Fred and Betty were cousins b/c they were both brunette and had the same eyes.
If the brother and sister thing was trueThat would also make Mrs Slagoople Barney's mother, making her Betty's mother in law, I'd imagine that put Mrs Slagoople and Betty at odds at least to SOME degree.

I am not sure about that, and I believe she had a different maiden name Betty then Flintstone, and also the same for the two live actions movies.

That would make Betty and Barney both Pebble's aunt and uncle and Bamm Bamm would be her double cousin only he would be her adopted one but still. That would be strange they got married when they grew up
