โ 3 years ago(September 05, 2022 11:04 PM)It would cost a little under $500 to a little over $1K to move somewhere nearby in Cleveland, Ohio.
I thought it was too expensive to Alaska at $10K, but maybe not.
If I can't move all the way to Alaska, I can move to a suburb of Boston. Someone online said Anchorage wasn't too cold, and I did some research. It's not even as cold as Up North in New York state, it seems, at least in some areas, of course I assume not others.
I think it would be wise to move to a nearby state, to a suburb or not one of the big cities. What do you think? Massachusetts is another state, by New York, just a jump over Pennsylvania. Even Alaska may be about the same cost. Around $1K+ seems to be what it is. I wonder if after I get my plastic drawers and get the stuff off my apartment floor hopefully, tomorrow, I can think about getting a little job.
I've been spending less on eating and don't buy things unless I need them. I may spend a little on myself sometime and, like, to eat out at the end of the month, when I know I have money. I am allowed to make $1,349/month exxtra, so that should be enough for March 2023 or whenever they let me leave.
I was looking for a German city in the US, but I'm not sure about that, neither, compared to these places.

boston, and mass. in general, new york, are all very expensive places to live, mostly driven by colleges and universities and students needing apartments; and partly due to just an insane real estate market.
research this very, very carefully. dont even think about just showing up with a dumb look on your face and saying, " can i move in?"
i suggest Toledo and the nearby suburbs. Boston pace of life and attitude will treat you badly. and even relatively sedate upstate new york will chew you up for breakfast and **** you out for lunch. -

โ 3 years ago(September 06, 2022 01:51 AM)I can try other places near Cleveland, nicer more inland at least to some degree. If I move to Alaska, I need to get a job.

โ 3 years ago(September 06, 2022 06:03 AM)Turns out I'm staying here, unless I have more money later somehow. I'm focusing on launching to Europe, Germany for Classical Music and cozy / tight knit culture. I do have some German. There are some countries I feel I know little about.

โ 3 years ago(September 06, 2022 07:07 AM)I wish that were my case, I could use another L desk to make a U desk or T desk etc., since this one is like half covered in art, decorations, etc.
