FAVORITE Rock Hudson movie yet!!

I realize that Rock Hudson fans usually tend to favor the Hudson/Day films, heck, I LOVE them, too. But this one, there's just something about it that makes it different than the others and makes it stand out for me. This is my favorite of all his movies.
Rock Hudson and Gina Lollobrigida are positively sensational on screen together. I have to say that this is the most handsome I've ever seen him look and the most beautiful I've ever seen her look. And with the location of Italy, it just adds so much. And now that I've finished reading Rock Hudson's biography, it goes to show you just how brilliant & gifted of an actor he was! He has amazing screen presence in each of his films! I highly recommend this one.
I'm really glad to have gotten this from Amazon! From growing up in the80's, I've never seen these movies before or even gotten into watching movies from this era but wow, they just don't make them like this anymore. And by that I mean movies and their stars. I hope Hollywood can somehow bring back the glamor, elegance, sophistication, style & grace that the stars of the50's and early '60's had. What an example they could then set for this current generation.

I'm watching this now (first viewing). It's good, but I think that
Pillow Talk
will always be my favorite Rock Hudson comedy, with
Man's Favorite Sport
coming in second. So far, this movie is much more enjoyable than the other two comedies Hudson and Doris Day did together.
