I didn’t see the remake either nor care to for different reasons.
I don’t care to be bored again as I was from the orig.
It has a great opening/catchy number of, “When you’re a jet you’re a jet….” but then the rest doesn’t live up to that for me.

The Thing
is a rare exception where the sequel is superior to the original. I can't think of any others though.

I understand. Actual survivors of the night prefer the British film as faithfully outlined by Walter Lord's book. My reasons are different for both as I like them.

can you give some examples of expressive choreography that doesn't look gay? Like where they are telling a story with their movements and not necessarily singing.
i can't really think of any in terms of group choreography.
