Just started rewatching the series. Haven't seen a lot of them before and not watching them in any particular order, so my current rankings are:

1. A View To a Kill (best villain and soundtrack)
2. Octopussy (best setting and superior action sequences)
3. Dr. No (cool setting but fairly boring film)

Wow, this is a great blog. I have not seen the last Bond, shame on me, but Quantum of Solace sucked. However, all of the Craig Bond will be at the bottom for me anyway. It has more to do with the modern Bond film and how it's changed rather than the way Craig plays Bond. There used to be a lot of things Bond movies always had to make them Bond movies and I just don't see it anymore. The last pure Bond films for me, were the Dalton Bonds. However Pierce had some good moments.

    17-24 are pretty much equally awful in my opinion, Never Say Never Again would also rank in that section, but it's not canon. 14-16 are really mediocre, but with significant redeeming qualities. 1-13 are good James Bond movies.
