- Collecting seashells can fetch you 50 bones a shell in California.
Miami, not California.
Another lesson..if you're taken captive by someone bent on world domination, don't drink the coffee you're given in 1st class accommodations styleit's drugged! Are you that stupid? Seriously?!?!?

I learned that filmmakers in 1962 had no real understanding how nuclear reactors worked.
A manual wheel control to control the reactor?
If Dr. No was so good at controlling radiation why was the swamp radioactive? -

Almost every reactor in existence will have a manual control for raising or lowering control rods in case of electrical loss, and it's almost always a wheel.
Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.

A hearse can routinely outcorner, outaccelerate, and outhandle a British sports car such as a Sunbeam.
Hearses randomly explode from the passenger compartment when going over a cliff.
There is a large population of Chinese living on Jamaica, particularly those that are half white or half black.
If your covert operation is blown, you typically just leave the cover exposed without removing the radio or other communication equipment.

Dr. No's Crab Key HQ has the same interior architect as the Fort Knox vault in Goldfinger.
I know Pinewood is acclaimed for 007, it just makes me smile that the same exact set was used both times with minimal difference.

- If you're a villain and catch a spy who could ruin your world domination plot, don't kill him. Just take him as a prisoner.
- If you take the spy as your prisoner, make sure to put him in a room with a window, so he can easyly escape.
- When you work with a black partner, it is totally natural to ask him to "go and get my shoes".

Re: #7
HA!
That's what I was going to tell the OP of "What a Racist Movie" thread earlier this morning, but I got distracted by a bunch of other nonsense that user has posted.
Possibly the funniest, most anachronistic line in the whole movie.
I think I might have to change my signature.
"Go and fetch my shoes!"

- That the "China Syndrome" is a myth. According to that, if a nuclear reactor goes critical, the core becomes so hot that it burns through the containment vessel and even through the surrounding earth. When it goes far enough down it passes through the water table, and with the crater formed by the super hot core, fills up with ground water. The water is almost instantly turned into super hot steam, which is sent into the atmosphere. The prevailing winds would then carry the radioactive vapor all over the surrounding territory, contaminating thousands of square miles. Given its proximity to the southeastern U.S., millions of people would be killed. Dr. No would get his way - there'd be no more rocket launches, and we'd never go to the Moon. But then, given the economic disaster it would produce, we'd also never get involved in Vietnam. So it wouldn't have been
