It is common knowledge that Sean Connelly was already bald by then and was wearing a toupee: I did not notice anything unnatural on his head Has anyone?

I think it seemed more obvious after Thunderball.

I don't think he started wearing a toupee until Goldfinger.

I've seen conflicting information on whether or not he's wearing a piece in Dr. No and FRWL, but if he is it looks pretty natural. By Goldfinger it's obvious.

I didn't notice he was wearing one until Thunderball in 1965.

                It was OK here.
It starts to stand out in Goldfinger, and in Thunderball it just looks laughable.
I actually thought his toupee in You Only Live Twice looked more natural than it did in Thunderball. I don't know what the hell happened there.

Sean Connery wore two hairpieces in the film - a dry toupee and a wet toupee (for when the water goes over his head in the tunnel).

It was really obvious in "You Only Live Twice" and super obvious in "Diamonds Are Forever".
