But he was in the (a small role) book of TMWTGG but not in the film
maybe because of the different local in the film
I guess like that previous poster said, it seemed appropriate to include Felix in DR. NO because it did involve disrupting American space launch projects. So you'd think the Americans would investigate it themselves.
I like THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN film, but have never read the book honestly. I kind of wish Felix was in it, only because LIVE AND LET DIE was Moore's only Bond film with the character. But I also like Lieutenant Hip. He probably filled in for what Felix's role was meant to be.

Having been a big fan of
      Soon-Tek Oh
I like to think of him as a sort of Asian Felix.
Far as the book goes it starts off picking up from
      YOLT
with a real bang, but goes out with a whimper. I don't know where you live but u still might get a copy from most larger book stories.

I've seen Fleming's original books at Chapters for $15 each. I got DR. NO at a thrift store for $1. An old copy too. I think published around the time THUNDERBALL was being filmed.
Also have found other Bond novels at thrift stores, but not by Fleming. Am now reading LICENSE RENEWED by John Gardner. I wonder why none of these other books have ever been adapted to film. Legal reasons?
I may pick up one or two from Chapters eventually. I tend to spend a lot because I find those EC Comics Archive collections like TALES FROM THE CRYPT Volume 1, so I keep putting off getting another Bond book.

Never heard of them & no wonder they're in Canada, u can also find them sometimes in Public Libs I saw omnibus(s) with more then 1 title.
A few yrs back I tried to give my John Garner collection to my local Public Libs
every one had a different excuse, one said something about yellow pages which was not the case with any of my vols, even Garner's first was like new.
I just think they didn't want to catalog them

Wallace, if you can I rsuugest you have a go at Raymond Benson's Bond books. Personally, I find them generally better than Gardner's, especially The Union Trilogy.
I imagine that they don't use any other authors works because of having to [pay another lot of royalties

Part of the reason may have been that he was too busy with Hawaii Five-O. Or he had become too familiar because of that show. Or both.

He "may" have been busy but it was NOT because of his only really claim to fame, Hawaii 5-o, because that show did not start until 1968..he could have appeared in Goldfinger and Thunderball instead of the other 2 actors portraying that role even before that role on that TV show was even a reality for him..

I remember him being in a show called "Stoney Burke" in which he played the eponymous hero who was an itinerant rodeo rider. This was about the early sixties.
I seem to remember it was on Sunday evenings so I assume it must have had some success in the states

Apparently he WAS asked back for Goldfinger, but as said above, he wanted equal billing with Connery and more money, and so the producers said NO

This is the only place one can respond to a needless, illogical, unintelligent review of Supernatural
Why since you saw one episode, did you bother reviewing"
                        Anger Issues?
If you actually bothered to understand the backstory of the show instead of judging one out of context episode you would see how out of touch you are.
The skill set that the leads start with aged 23 and 28 make sense as they have been trained in hunting the supernatural using weapons, hand to hand fighting understanding the lore about what they fight started when they were 12 by their Father an ex marine. Age 28 is more than old enough. Or do
                        Navy Seals not count.
and 23 with 11 years of on the job training is also enough.
The show finished its 11th season and will be back. The too young for the skill set are now in their 30's
The semi regular characters and guest stars run the gamut of ages. There are lots of pretty girls but they are not the reason one watches. Pretty girls on TV can be found anywhere.
Why were you being an idiot
Excuse the interruption again, to what must be an insightful comment
                        All the best
