        Who knows? Is programming of the kind shown in this film even possible? The book and the film have their roots in some real Korean War events, but go far beyond what happened there.

            Sirhan had a dazed look in his eyes (as though he were somewhere else) and could not remember what he had done. I believe he is still alive and has never explained his motive for killing RFK.

              Sirhan Sirhan long ago said he killed RFK because of his support of Israel. Don't you kids read history anymore?

                You are right and I stand corrected.
                Its just that I seem to remember that confession coming out much later. In today's world it might resonate but in 1968 Israel was supported by most American politicians. It seemed like a less credible motive at the time to me. Afterward I remember thinking he would need to kill all the presidential candidates if that was his true motive. In almost every photograph I saw of Sirhan in those days, he had a dazed look in his eyes. It made me think, "the lights are on but no one is home".
