    The series is winding down
    (only 2 more to go),
and it shows in these three decidedly mediocre episodes. I rate all three 👽
1/2, three and a half Zantis.
    The Duplicate Man
    Dec.19, 1964
A man illegally clones himself to quietly hunt down and kill a pregnant predatory monster he illegally brought to Earth. He hopes this second wrong will make things right. The monster, the
    Megasoid,
is a six foot abominable snowman with a bird's beak and a tail. It's truly one of the worst bears
    (monster)
    of the entire series.
It stars Ron Randell and Constance Towers.
    Counterweight
    Dec 26, 1964
Six men and two women volunteer to be locked in a mock spacecraft and undergo a simulated 261 day mission to a distant planet. However a series of strange events lead to paranoia and a growing suspicion among them. The bear is strange, but kinda creepy.
    It stars Michael Constantine
    The Brain of Colonel Barham
    Jan 2, 1965
For the Space Program, scientists transplant the brain of a crippled former astronaut into a computer for a trip to Mars. The brain ends up in a jar of liquid with wires spouting from it. It's basically a ripoff of the 1953 film
    Donovan's Brain.
It's also a precursor to Steve Martin's hilarious 1983 film
    The Man With Two Brains.
It stars Grant Williams from the excellent 1957 film
    The Incredible Shrinking Man.
